We enthusiastically invite you to 10th anniversary of the International Intercultural Football Encounter Festival
from the July 3rd to 8th, 2024
in the Alfred Kunze Sports Park of the BSG Chemie Leipzig!
After nine successful events, we can now celebrate our tenth anniversary and have every reason to be happy! In this special year, you can expect not only captivating program items, which we will present in detail on our website and on social media in the coming weeks, but also numerous surprises for this special anniversary.
We would like to inform you now that we are deviating from the traditional route this year and instead presenting an innovative idea: On Saturday, July 6th, 2024, the lawn of the Alfred-Kunze-portpark will be the scene of an impressive and international flashlight professional -Football tournament. Among the highly anticipated matches, well-known professional teams from different parts of Europe will take on BSG Chemie Leipzig. This enthusiastic participation is in line with the long tradition of BSG Chemie Leipzig, which fully supports the international, intercultural football encounter festival.
On Sunday, July 7th, exciting international youth football tournaments in various age groups are on the program, where talented players have the opportunity to impressively present their skills. The highlight of the sporting event is duly rounded off by the awarding of the “Max and Leo Bartfeld Cup” and the “Rafe Goldstein Cup” in the relevant categories.
The U17/U16 juniors compete to win the coveted “Max and Leo Bartfeld Cup” (born in 2007 and 2008). The U15/U14 juniors are also competing for the same trophy (born in 2009 and 2010). The U13/U12 juniors are also taking part to secure the “Max and Leo Bartfeld Cup” (born in 2011 and 2012).
An open leisure competition is also on the program, in which open leisure clubs, schools and leisure teams compete for the coveted “Rafe Goldstein Cup”. A special premiere this year is the girls' soccer tournament with an open age group, which will certainly generate additional enthusiasm.
Be part of this unique experience again this year and enjoy six unforgettable days with hundreds of international guests in Leipzig.
